A story and song to honor Dolly Parton Day✨

It was just a few years ago that our choir chose “Circle of Love” as the theme for our fall season. With songs like "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" and "Love Can Build a Bridge," we began building our set list.

Little did we know that a little gem of a song was waiting to be discovered. When we heard Dolly Parton’s "Circle of Love," we knew we had to include it!

We soon discovered that there wasn’t a choral arrangement that was a good fit for us. So, we reached out to Dolly and her production team, hoping they might give our accompanist, R. Dale Andersson, permission to create an arrangement specifically for us.

And then, to our surprise, our request was immediately granted!

Later, our “kin choir” Sing! Chorus in Knoxville, Tennessee, included the song in one of their seasons. And now, this treasured song has made its way back into our Top 10 for this season.

Thank you, Dolly, for giving us songs that become more than music—songs we can carry in our hearts. ❤️🎶
