Joint VFW & Auxiliary Memorial Service at District 2 Loyalty Day meeting, at Prior Lake VFW Post 6208, remembering those members who passed away April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.

4,133 Flags brought by VFW Posts and Auxiliaries of District 2 for the Flag Retirement Ceremony. The Flags were once proudly displayed across southern MN but now their condition warranting respectful retirement.

Morson-Ario-Strand VFW Auxiliary 950 is attending the joint District 2 VFW & Auxiliary meeting today. District 2 winners of youth scholarship contests - Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy - and Teacher of the Year for each grade category are presented with monetary awards and certificates or plaques. Happy Birthday to the United States Army National Guard!

Formed on December 13, 1636, in Massachusetts, the National Guard not only predates all other U.S. military branches, but the nation itself! The National Guard is now celebrating the big 3-8-9.
