Stand Up & Feel Safe Annual Appeal $10K = $30K

The Footnotes Trauma Foundation is supporting Sexual Abuse Survivors and Military Veterans with PTSD through the support of friends like you. We are so grateful for our generous benefactors! As you can imagine, recovering from trauma is a long road to haul, therefore every year we must ask for your support.

Typically, non-profits will hold Gala events in hopes of gathering and encouraging potential donors to give. Many of our past donors have asked us this year to be FRUGAL. They said, “Please use the funds spent on a Dinner Gala for the mental healthcare your Trauma Survivors need, not a fundraiser dinner event.”

So, here we are being frugal, creating a Crowd Funding, online fundraiser! Please help us with a donation of any size today! Think of it like taking a friend for coffee or lunch or even a really nice dinner out.

Your donation will be matched with an additional $20,000 if we raise $10,000. $10,000 will equal $30,000!!!

$70 equals an hour of therapy for one person for one week. To give all our scholarship recipients an hour of therapy every week for a year we need $54,600. With grants, corporate sponsors and $30,000 from this crowdfunding campaign, we can DO IT! Please share this post with your family and friends and note that your donation can be used as a charitable tax deduction on your 2025 taxes.

Our first Bowling Fundraising event was soooo much fun! We had businesses and their staff bonding, we had families bonding, we had friends bonding and the biggest bond of all was the support everyone gave us in raising funds for our trauma survivors that wouldn’t be able to receive the mental health counseling they deserve without donations from all of you! We raised just over $5000!

Huge THANK YOU, to Pam, Ashley and Cody with The Wow Zone for hosting our event and making the evening fly by seamlessly! Your kindness and dedication to making our event super easy and successful was just ……WOW!!!

And we cannot forget the joy that was given by getting a chance to hold and share smiles with little Jaron, who apparently has no problem taking a nap amongst the not so soothing sounds of a bowling alley and arcade 😊

We will do another Bowling event in the future, be sure to join us!!!

The Footnotes Trauma Foundation would like to thank Larry and Barbara Twedt & Pioneer Seed for being one of our Partners in Resilience. They have been a dedicated supporter of our trauma survivors since 2020, the inception of our non-profit foundation. They truly understand that therapy is not “one and done” and they have and continue to help us give our scholarship recipients consistent and uninterrupted care. Thank you Twedt Pioneer Seed!!!

Thank you, Windings, for becoming a 2025 Footnotes Trauma Foundation Partner in Resilience! Your gift means the world to our foundation and the scholarship recipients who will benefit from your generosity. I was given the opportunity to tour Windings a few weeks back and learn about what Windings is known for. Did you know that Windings produces electric motors for aviation and space? Their products are doing amazing work on other planets! Thank you, Betsy and Jessica, for the tour and conversation and thank you Betsy for all your work with First Responders!
