Thank you so much Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary for inviting our coalition coordinator, Lexi, to speak with you about who we are and dig a little deeper into the past and present substance use prevention initiatives throughout the structure of HMC. You were such a welcoming and kind group to spend the morning with!

We had a great visit from Lexi with Healthiest Manitowoc County who shared about how HMC is responding to substance use in our community. Lexi shared about their efforts to help bring a Public Health Vending Machine to the community, education surrounding drug take-backs, and their distribution of medication lock boxes and pill containers.

Thank you, Lexi, for sharing the work that you and HMC are doing!

Another Walk And Roll To School Day shoutout. Thank you Monroe students and families for participating! Walking to school can help kids focus better in morning classes, reduces congestion at drop off creating cleaner air, and helps kids build relationships with other students and community members walking alongside them!

This past Friday we welcomed 103 families-about 345 individuals at our 4th annual Community Baby Shower hosted by HMC Investing Early!

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, planned, or attended the event! We also want to thank all the agencies who provided education, showcased resources, and provided some extra fun at the event!

We received an incredible donation this week from P&G Green Bay! They donated over 8,000 diapers to HMC Investing Early to not only support families coming to the Community Baby Shower 2026, but also through additional investing early initiatives and efforts. What an amazing impact this will have on so many families.
