Welcome Coach Daehling to the Manitowoc girls basketball program

Originally from Cambria, WI but moved to Manitowoc/Two Rivers area in 2006
- Married with 3 kids (Daughters: Elliandra and Macyn, Son: Kyden)
- M.S.S. in Sports Management and Sports Coaching (2020) , B.S in Biology (2010)
- Coached women’s basketball for 8 years at Silver Lake College/Holy Family College, prior to the college closing.
- Played 4 years at Silver Lake College
- Was part of 4 USCAA National Championship teams, as a coach

Welcome Coach Garbe to the Manitowoc girls basketball program.

Bio: I played four sports in high school, including basketball, because some of the greatest pros in major sports have repeatedly said that the best athletes are multi-sport athletes, not those who specialize in one sport. I graduated from UW-Green Bay in 2017, where I ran cross country & majored in English Education.

I have also obtained an additional license to teach History. I taught for a semester in Mexico, then I taught in Green Bay for two years before moving to Manitowoc. Currently, I am a teacher at Wilson Middle School (2nd year here; 4th year overall).

I’ve been coaching youth sports, such as basketball and running, since I was in college. I spent one year as an Athletic Director at St. Thomas More School in Green Bay, where I also coached cross country, basketball, and track & field. Since moving to Manitowoc, I’ve coached soccer, basketball, and track & field. I am eager to coach basketball at the high school level, as well as help with the youth program, here in Manitowoc

Congrats to the 7th grade team winning first place and winning the tournament in Kenosha.

Grace Kulpa was MVP of the tournament. Nice job Grace.

Great defensive domination today in their second game.
