Tilly's Pit Crew Tilly’s Pit Crew is aimed at reducing the population of pit bull type dogs in the Sheboygan County & Manitowoc County shelters.

We do this through FREE spays/neuters and FREE training to help dogs stay with their families. Tilly's Pit Crew is aimed at reducing the population of pit bull dogs in Sheboygan and Manitowoc Counties while offering owner support and networking with local rescues and shelters to secure a safe future for these dogs. We accomplish our mission through 4 programs for the community. 1)Free spay/neuter

💫 TANK 💫
Meet Tank! He’s an energetic guy who is ready to take on life outside of the shelter. Tank recently got to try out some of the agility equipment at the dog park with a volunteer friend at the shelter and he really seemed to enjoy himself… AND he was pretty good at it too, considering we don’t think he has ever tried it before!

At around 3 years old, Tank has a good amount of energy and would enjoy doing ALL the things with his family!
Car rides ✅
Hiking ✅
Playing ball ✅
You name it, he’s probably game for it!

Tank would love a family that wants to include him in things. Overall, he does well with kids and other dogs. So, if you have either (or both) and are looking to add a new family member to your home, please come meet Tank. He is waiting at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County 💚

🐾 📚 ​Milo says listen up! We have some exciting news to share. We're restructuring our training program and will now be offering advanced classes for any dog that has completed our basic training program.

​The advanced class will focus heavily on impulse control and walking past other dogs without throwing a fit. Advance registration is required. If you're interested in signing up, please email [email protected] with a description and picture of your dog by September 15th.

​Classes will be held the first four Wednesdays in October at 6:00 PM at Off-Leash Manners in Manitowoc. Hope to see you, and especially your pup, there!

⭐️ SOLO ⭐️
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, happy young guy, you’ve come to the right place! Meet Solo!
He was recently lucky enough to spend some extra special time with a wonderful staff member who busted him out of the shelter for a few days 🤩
These types of extended outings help staff and volunteers learn more about the dogs to pass along to potential adopters (which is priceless!!!)
Solo was happy as can be and a great house guest. He took mini naps after his active walks/hikes and seemed to enjoy every moment of his time doing all the stuff that dogs should enjoy doing; like playing with his toys and cuddling like he’s been doing it all his life 🥹
Solo needed some reassurance throughout the night as he seemed to startled awake easily, feeling nervous of some of the regular sounds around him. He needs time and patience to feel safe and acclimated to a home.
Solo is still a baby!!! He came to the shelter as a stray at less than 1 year old. Basic training, consistency, time and LOVE is what this sweet, big, floppy boy craves and NEEDS from an adopter!

“Breezy has come so far. From a frightened, confused young dog to a bright, happy sweetheart. Breezy was all bounce and boops today on our walk.

I had a new treat in my treat pouch that Breezy can eat. (No chicken for this girl). She was loving it. Freeze dried beef pieces. Two paws up from Breezy. She was very focused on them😆.

I don't know if it was the treats or just her being chill but I was gifted with lots of Breezy cuddles, boops and kisses.

Her little bouncy walk is adorable. She is well mannered on leash. Her weak point? Other dogs. She wants to say hi but we don't allow that so we worked on "leave it" and "with me." She is getting better. “ -DWT

All Tri wants is to find a home with a family who will love her back. She is great with kids and other dogs, and could potentially live with other animal siblings as well.
