Tilly's Pit Crew Tilly’s Pit Crew is aimed at reducing the population of pit bull type dogs in the Sheboygan County & Manitowoc County shelters.

We do this through FREE spays/neuters and FREE training to help dogs stay with their families. Tilly's Pit Crew is aimed at reducing the population of pit bull dogs in Sheboygan and Manitowoc Counties while offering owner support and networking with local rescues and shelters to secure a safe future for these dogs. We accomplish our mission through 4 programs for the community. 1)Free spay/neuters for all pit bull type dogs in Sheboygan and Manitowoc Counties, 2)Free training for all pit bull type dogs in Sheboygan and Manitowoc Counties, 3)Enrichment for all dogs at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County and Lakeshore Humane Society, 4)Education throughout the community.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, soft, white beauty you will find it in Aloe!
Aloe is very sweet and affectionate and will hop up to ask for hugs and your affection in return. Overall, she’s a confident 3ish year old girl 💪
She has a happy smile that anyone would be lucky to come home to! Aloe is ready to find a home that will let her settle in and give her all the love she deserves.
You may have seen her “buddy” Brodie posted earlier today… they came to the Sheboygan area from the Northwoods together, but they aren’t a bonded pair. Aloe could live with another dog if they mesh well like she and Brodie did 💛

THOSE EYES 😍

Bodie is reserved and a tad shy when meeting new people, but once he knows you’re safe and trustworthy, he warms up and is just the sweetest boy!
He has a silly personality and his antics will keep you laughing.
At about 100 lbs you’d think he’d pull on the leash - he doesn’t!
This big guy walks like a dream…if you can keep him walking - he would much rather spend sunny days in the grass.
Rolling in it.
Laying in it.
Lounging for hours.

He came from the Northwoods and at almost 9-years old is looking for the home of his dreams.
Bodie can be picky with other dogs, but the right canine companion could help with his confidence.
Cats are a hard no.
Respectful kids have been okay with him in the past.

Maple recently went to the radio with volunteer, Jess, and here's what we learned:

Maple is a sweet, bouncy pup who is eager to please. She is very friendly with everyone she meets and is a total leaner - she will sit right in your lap like she's only 5lbs.
Something you may not notice immediately in this picture, she is a tri-pod… and that doesn’t slow her down one bit!
Maple is smart, already knows some basic commands, and is very treat motivated. She would really enjoy going to classes! Maple would do well with any family who is looking for a best friend, playmate, and snuggle bug! She had a tough start to life and is ready to soak in all the love in her very own forever home 🐾 🏠 🧡

Do you love big dogs with giant heads and that same smile to match?! Look no further, you will find that in Bodie!
He came to the HSSC with another dog named Aloe, but they are not a bonded pair (but if you want 2, by all means they would love a home together).
Bodie can be a bit shy at first but if you give him the time to warm up, you’ll get a big goofy goober of a guy. He’s about 8 years old and he doesn’t want to continue his days in the shelter. Let’s find him a warm home and couch to learn, grow and live his life 🧡

Aloe is a 3-year-old girl with an agenda.
1) Meet her perfect family
2) Get adopted
3) Snuggle
4) Repeat
Not only does Aloe love to snuggle, she loves to run, play, go for walks, and play with other dogs. At the shelter, Aloe doesn't bark or show fear of humans or dogs. She is extremely well-mannered both on and off leash. Aloe would make the perfect family dog, as long as there are no felines in the home.
Aloe came to the HSSC from another shelter where she bonded with her pal, Bodie. While they don't have to be adopted together, we would love to see them leave together if possible!

Hi, I'm Aloe! I’m the white colored lady with the purple collar and big ears 😍 I came from the Northwoods of Wisconsin with my buddy Bodie in hopes that we could both find loving forever homes.
Bodie and I get along great, and while we aren't a bonded pair, we'd certainly be happy to go home together if someone has room in their heart for two! I'm a sweet and affectionate girl, but I also have an independent side and am perfectly happy doing my own thing sometimes. I can be a little selective about my doggy friends, but with the right introductions, I can enjoy having a canine companion. I'd do well with respectful kids who don't mind that I can be a little enthusiastic at times! One thing to know about me is that I'm a strict no-cats kind of girl, so a feline-free home is a must. If you're looking for a sweet girl who can be loving, independent, and full of personality, I'd love to meet you!

Hi everyone, I’m Bodie and I’m definitely the quieter and more reserved one, compared to Aloe, when I'm meeting new people. I may need some time to feel comfortable and figure out that you're someone I can trust. A patient family willing to help me build my confidence would be just what I need. Once I let you in, I'm going to be a loyal, goofy, big-headed boy with plenty of personality to share! I can be selective about my dog friends, so I'll need the right canine match. I can live with respectful kids who are comfortable with a boy who can get a little enthusiastic from time to time. Cats, however, are a definite no for me, so I'll need a cat-free home. I may not be the first boy to run up and introduce myself, but give me the time to come out of my shell and you'll get to see the wonderful personality hiding underneath!

🎓 Huge congrats to our newest Trainable class grads! 🐾✨
These awesome pups worked so hard over the last few weeks and completely earned their graduation certificates! They’ve learned so much and did fantastic on their final night. To celebrate, we finished up with a group walk and let them loose on some fun agility obstacles—they had an absolute blast!

A huge thank you to Off-Leash Manners for donating their time and space to host these classes with us! If you're looking for training, boarding, or daycare, definitely reach out to their team! 🐶❤️

This was our final Basic Trainable class of 2026, but we do have a few open spots left for our Advanced Class starting next Wednesday!

​Yesterday’s Pints for Pits event at 3 Sheeps Brewing was nothing short of incredible! Seeing so many passionate, like-minded people come together to support our mission truly means the world to us.

​A massive thank you to our phenomenal hosts at 3 Sheeps Brewing for opening up their space and being such wonderful partners. And to our hard-working volunteers who made this entire day happen, as well as everyone who bought raffle tickets, picked up baked goods, grabbed food, or came out to hang—together, we raised $5,120!

​Every single dollar raised directly supports pit bull–type dogs and their families in Sheboygan and Manitowoc Counties, helping us keep our programs running and dogs in loving homes where they belong.

​And of course, our favorite part: meeting all of your adorable pups! 🐶❤️

​Thank you for your overwhelming generosity, your community spirit, and your dedication to the dogs. We couldn't do this work without you!
