We are beyond happy to have been part of the Two Rivers Environmental Board Shore/River clean up this last Saturday June 6th! We cleaned about 400 pounds of garbage out of the East Twin River. We collected so much garbage we had to leave some at dead end roads for later collection. We extend a big thank you all of our volunteers and the entire community for creating such an important event. We are excited for next year's clean up!

This year for our annual Mother's Day Manitowoc River Clean-up we had 9 volunteers! We collected 1,380 pounds of garbage out of the river and off of the shores. We cleaned up a few abandoned homeless camps along the river as well. We cleaned from Manitou park to the River North district. We needed two trailers for everything we grabbed this time around. Thank you to everyone that volunteered and helped us along the way! Thank you to Van Horn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Manitowoc for continuing to dispose of the tires we collect responsibly. Also thank you to MetalStorm, Inc. For you continued donations. Another big shout out to Hop Locker for your support and donation of refreshments for our volunteers! We appreciate every single person that supports our mission and helps us to keep our rivers clean! Huge thanks to all the Mother's that came out to support Mother Earth on their special day!

A big thank you to everyone that came out yesterday to support us! We had plenty of tents & we all stayed nice and dry. It was a fantastic turn out especially with all that crazy weather.

Looking for one volunteer to paddle a canoe down the Lower Manitowoc River Sunday with our photographer at 10am at Manitou Park. Free refreshments provided by the Hop Locker as well as a free meal!

Happy Earth day to everyone! Get out and do something good for our planet if you can find the time today. Even a short walk with a garbage bag on this sunny spring day helps tremendously!

Thank you to the City of Two Rivers Rectreational Departement for inviting us to PaddlePalooza 2025! We held multiple river clean ups on the East & West Twin rivers. We collected 320 pounds of garbage. It was a lot of tires this time around. We would like to give a special shout out and a huge thank you to Van Horn of Manitowoc for taking our tires to dispose of properly.

This year for our annual Mother's day Manitowoc River clean-up we made it a 2 day event! We had 11 volunteers on actual Mothers day 🌹. Including a few mother's and their children! We collected 2 full trailers of garbage 🤮. So much garbage we had to stop half way to empty out on shore. We went and picked that pile up at the end of the day. This is the most garbage we have ever collected. THIS YEAR WE GRABBED A WHOPPING 1940 POUNDS OF TRASH OUT OF THE RIVER! 60 pounds shy of a ton. We even found a mini copper power wheels! 🚗 It felt good but also bad as we clean this section of the river every year! 😔 We would like to say thank you to all of the volunteers that gave this day up for a good cause! A huge thank you to the mom's that gave up time out of their special day! 🥰 One more gigantic shout out and thanks to Van Horn 🚗 in Manitowoc for taking and responsibly disposing of the many tires we collected. ♻️ We picked up 24 tires. We had so many tires that the canoes were full and kayakers brought them back to dock.(check the photos) Which is no easy feat if you have kayaked you'd know having that extra weight on your boat can make things a little more tricky. It was a fun filled day and we all did a good thing! Thank you all!
