This last Sunday we had a group of 5 people that cleaned up garbage on the Red River in Gresham Wisconsin. This river is a tributary of the Wolf river in Shawano county. We collected more than ever on this river including 2 tires and as always sunken b**r cans and lost inflatables as well as a bunch of lost shoes and even a lawn chair! But we had tons of fun doing it! Thank you to our friend Ezra for joining the effort!

We are so happy to have been part of the Hop Locker July 3rd fundraiser event. It was an awesome day for everyone! It was the perfect event that helped to raise much needed funds for local non-profit groups including our group. Thank you to Tim Petersen and the entire community for your continued support.

We are beyond lucky to have such a huge amount of support from our community! We could never do what we do without it.

Congratulations to People Earth Water Inc. on 10 years of dedicated environmental stewardship in the City of Manitowoc and throughout Wisconsin!

Last week, I had the honor of presenting a commendation at the Common Council meeting, recognizing their incredible work:

Over the past decade, People, Earth, Water has organized two dozen waterway cleanups, removing more than 30,000 pounds (15 tons!) of trash from our local rivers and lakes.

Hundreds of volunteers have contributed thousands of hours, helping restore and preserve Manitowoc’s natural beauty.

Their efforts have removed everything from boats and tires to everyday trash, making a lasting impact on our community.

The annual Mother’s Day River cleanup alone averages nearly a ton of trash removed each year.

As a 501(c)(3), all donations go directly to enhancing cleanup efforts and ensuring volunteer safety.

Thank you, People, Earth, Water, for inspiring community pride and environmental responsibility. Here’s to many more years of service and stewardship!

We are beyond happy to have been part of the Two Rivers Environmental Board Shore/River clean up this last Saturday June 6th! We cleaned about 400 pounds of garbage out of the East Twin River. We collected so much garbage we had to leave some at dead end roads for later collection. We extend a big thank you all of our volunteers and the entire community for creating such an important event. We are excited for next year's clean up!

This year for our annual Mother's Day Manitowoc River Clean-up we had 9 volunteers! We collected 1,380 pounds of garbage out of the river and off of the shores. We cleaned up a few abandoned homeless camps along the river as well. We cleaned from Manitou park to the River North district. We needed two trailers for everything we grabbed this time around. Thank you to everyone that volunteered and helped us along the way! Thank you to Van Horn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Manitowoc for continuing to dispose of the tires we collect responsibly. Also thank you to MetalStorm, Inc. For you continued donations. Another big shout out to Hop Locker for your support and donation of refreshments for our volunteers! We appreciate every single person that supports our mission and helps us to keep our rivers clean! Huge thanks to all the Mother's that came out to support Mother Earth on their special day!
