We are always so thankful for our incredible partnership with UnitedOne Credit Union! đź’™

An extra-special part of this partnership is having the opportunity to bring their Community Financial Wellness Specialist, Tisha O’Dell, into our Real World Ready Series!

During her “Paycheck Reality Check” presentation, Tisha helped students understand the breakdown of a paycheck and shared practical strategies for managing their money and saving for their future selves.

She then challenged students to “Master Your Money” by learning about budgeting, saving, and the real cost of some of the bigger-ticket items they may want to purchase in the future. Students gained a better understanding of how the choices they make today can impact their financial future.

These are the kinds of real-world lessons that help students feel prepared and confident as they take their next steps beyond the classroom. We are so grateful to UnitedOne Credit Union and Tisha O’Dell for helping make these learning opportunities possible!

Thank you for investing in our students and helping prepare them for their financial futures! ❤️

What does it take to process a crime scene? Mr. Hall’s Forensic Science students are finding out! 🔍

Students recently completed their first crime scene project, putting their investigation skills to the test. Working in assigned roles as part of a larger team, they documented the scene, took photographs, collected and packaged evidence, and worked together to successfully process the crime scene.

Great hands-on learning as our Ships develop the skills of future forensic investigators!

It’s Sports Officials Appreciation Week, October 4–10!

This week, we captured photos of some of the officials who help make our home volleyball matches, soccer games, and swim meets possible. But our appreciation extends far beyond this week and these photos.

To every official who gives their time, knowledge, and energy to support our student-athletes: THANK YOU! Your dedication and commitment to high school athletics are truly appreciated.

From all of us at Lincoln High School, thank you for being an important part of the game and our Ships athletic community!

🏊‍♀️ Celebrating Our Seniors & the Future of Manitowoc Swimming!

Seniors Rayla Giblin and Talia Seefeldt were recognized at Tuesday night’s swim meet vs. Green Bay United. Throughout the season, these seniors have demonstrated incredible strength and teamwork, supporting their fellow teammates with big swims and plenty of encouragement. The Ships Swim Team is very fortunate to have Rayla and Talia leading the way. Their presence and leadership will certainly be missed next year!

Also on hand was the MANTA Rays YMCA Swim Team, who came out to support the Ships swimmers. It was wonderful to see so many members of the swimming community coming together to cheer on our athletes.

đź’™ The future of Manitowoc swimming is strong! We are grateful for the swimmers, coaches, officials, families, and supporters who make this community so special.

Building Connections. Creating Opportunities.🎓💼

What a great day at our Lincoln High School Job Fair!

We were excited to welcome 25+ local businesses to our school, giving students the opportunity to connect face-to-face with local employers, learn about career opportunities, and explore what their futures could look like right here in our community.

Our students made the most of the experience—meeting with business representatives, asking questions, learning about available positions, and filling out job applications!

A huge THANK YOU to all of the local businesses and representatives who took the time to invest in our students and help prepare them for life beyond high school. Your partnership makes a difference! ❤️

This past weekend, the Lincoln SHIPS Girls Swim Team traveled to Fond du Lac to compete in a large 13 team swim invitational. In a field filled with large teams and fast swimmers, the SHIPS continued to show their ability to compete and improve.

Freshman Callie Derby had an outstanding meet, dropping time in the 500 freestyle to record a lifetime personal-best time of 5:54.39. Her performance was good enough to score points for the SHIPS.

Sophomore Siri Stachovak continued her strong season, reaching the podium in both of her individual events. Stachovak finished 7th in the 200 freestyle before earning an impressive 3rd place finish in the 100 backstroke.

Stachovak and Derby also teamed up with junior Breleigh Koeppler and freshman Lillica McGovert in the relay events. The quartet competed in both the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay, earning valuable points for the Lincoln team.
