FRIDAY NIGHT SOUS CHEF WANTED.

The Manitowoc Yacht Club is looking to fill a Chef's position. Service is on Friday nights only.

We are seeking a Sous Chef who could fill in as Head Chef. Some of the responsibilities include:
-Fry cook
-Food prep
-Assist the Head Chef with meal preparation and plating
-Fill in as Head Chef when needed
-Work with front-of-house staff to ensure proper completion of orders

The Manitowoc Yacht Club provides a Friday night fish fry in a Supper Club atmosphere to its members and their guests. In addition to our Friday night dining service, the MYC occasionally hosts functions that may require food service.

This person should be a self-starter who cares about the quality and presentation of the food served to our guests. The selected candidate should have training in safe food handling or a Food Handler's Certificate. Holding a Food Manager's certificate would be a bonus, but not mandatory.

This job offers the opportunity to expand your cooking experience and skills. Pay is based on experience and certifications, and includes performance-based pay increases.

Twelve more days until JULY FOURTH!!!! Make plans to bring your family and friends to the Yacht Club for live music, cold drinks and grilled burgers and brats. Have a real ol' fashioned Fourth of July with us! Kids' activities, too. The public is welcome.
