On Thursday, October 29, join us at 7:00 PM for a workshop we've lovingly dubbed Government Fundamentals 101! The facilitators will talk you through a number of basics about how the US government works - political party platforms, electoral college, state/tribal/local government structures, etc. - and you'll have time to ask questions about anything you don't know that you wish you did...no question is too small or too "dumb!"

They are the changemakers we need for the communities we want—communities where all people, no matter who they are or where they come from or what their current circumstances, get the support they need, when they need it, to reach their full potential.

They also are our future federal and state legislators, mayors, corporate and nonprofit leaders, educators, health care providers and police officers. And they’re not going to stand for the status quo. They’re not going to stand for the world that’s being left to them. They’re not going to stand for anything less than the future they want.

Congradulations to our Manitowoc Two Rivers delegate Cassie Gunderson on her Full Tutition Scholarship to Marquette University. She will be studing Political Science and her goal is to become a family lawyer.
