For years, our community has come together to support local childcare because we understand something important: when families have access to quality, affordable childcare, our entire community thrives.
On August 1, Little Forest School will host the "7th Annual Pontoon Poker Run" — our single largest childcare fundraiser of the year. Every dollar raised helps us keep tuition among the lowest in the Northwoods while providing exceptional teachers with competitive salaries and benefits.
Today, Little Forest School is full to capacity with 25 students and a waiting list of families hoping to enroll their children. We have a dedicated team of seven teachers, innovative nature-based programming, and a new school building under construction in Manitowish Waters that will open in early 2027.
But growth like this doesn't happen without community support.

OurJuly pork chop dinner is this Thursday night July 16 at the Lions Pavilion in Manitowish Waters from 5-7 pm.
