✂️✨ Fresh Cuts, Fresh Starts! ✨✂️

Day 1 of our FREE Haircuts at the Community Center was a huge success! 💈❤️

There were smiles, new looks, great conversations, and plenty of community spirit. We’re so grateful to Robert Xavier for volunteering his time, and to everyone who came out and helped make the day special.

Because sometimes, a fresh haircut isn’t just a haircut—it’s a little boost of confidence and a reminder that our community cares. 💪🏽😊

This past Saturday volunteers had the opportunity to receive specialized Trauma-Informed Care training from Gus and Jess Moen of Gustav Moen Therapies, LLC. They covered topics such as becoming trauma aware, cultivating a trauma-informed mindset, recognizing our own triggers and much more! We are thankful for their expertise and are hopeful this will enhance the level of care and support we provide at Food Pantry and The Clinic.

FREE SCHOOL PHYSICALS at the STACC Clinic! 🤯

On Thursday, August 20th we will be offering free school physicals for any student that is enrolled in a Manitou Springs School District 14 school. If they have insurance we can bill it, however, they can come without insurance too.

We will be here from 9am to 3pm.

Please join us in welcoming Elena Arana as STACC’s new Director of Operations! Elena will oversee STACC’s facilities, safety, build relationships with local businesses & organizations, and will support our STACC partners who operate out of the STACC. Elena is a dedicated Manitou Springs community leader, serves on the Board of Directors for Manitou Springs Carnivale, belongs to the Manitou Springs Women’s Club, and regularly volunteers at local events. She also brings valuable experience in business development and strategic partnerships. Elena is passionate about creating a vibrant, welcoming, accepting, and safe environment where neighbors can find connection, healing, and support.
