American Legion Eber Duclo Post 39 The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness.

Join us at Post 39 on Monday, May 25, for a barbecue at the Post. Serving will start at 1pm. We will barbecue hot dogs and bratwursts. Bring your favorite dish if you like to share with friends and family.

Update of Veteran flag placement on Crystal Valley Cemetery. Meet at the Post on May 23 between 8am and 9am for coffee and donuts. After 9am, we will carpool to the cemetery to place flags on Veterans graves. We have a new and updated map of the cemetery and each section. Much easier to find traditional and new veteran graves. Volunteers needed. Meet at the Post afterword for a toast to our brothers and sisters in arms that have passed away.

Post 39 will place American flags on all the Veterans graves in Crysta Park Cemetery on Saturday, May 23. Meet at the Post at 9am for coffee and refreshments. We will car pool to the cemetery. We will have a barbecue on Monday, Memorial Day, May 25, starting at 1pm. Bring you favorite dish to share with friends.

Post 39 will be open on Easter Sunday, April 5. We are hosting a pot luck lunch/dinner starting at 2pm. The Post is providing the meat, but bring your favorite dishes, deserts, or other dishes to share with fellow members.

Post 39 is having a St Patrick’s Day party on Tuesday, March 17, starting at 3pm. We will have a corned beef and cabbage cookoff as well as $4 Jameson shots, and $7 “car bomb” drinks.

Post 39 will be open on Thursday, Nov. 27, Thanksgiving Day serving a traditional turkey dinner for the Post 39 family. The Post will provide the turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing and traditional green bean casserole. Feel free to bring a dish or dessert to add to the celebration. Post opens at 1pm, with serving to start around 2pm.

Post 39 was closed today, and will be closed tomorrow, Friday, November 14, due to renovations in the Post. We expect to complete work and open on Saturday, November 15.

The Post 39 "Early Bird" dinner is on for Friday night, Sept 26, starting at 5pm. The dinner is being catered by Front Range Barbecue. No need to bring any side dishes, the Post is providing a complete dinner. Main dishes are beef brisket and pulled pork. Take care of renewing your dues for 2026 if you haven't already done so. Officers will be available to process your renewals. Thank you for supporting Post 39.

Our annual "Early Bird" dinner is scheduled for Friday, September 26, starting at 5pm.The purpose of the "Early Bird" dinner is to show our appreciation to all Post 39 members and that we are grateful for supporting Post 39 by renewing your dues for 2026.

Front Range Barbecue is catering the dinner. The menu calls for smoked beef brisket and pulled pork and side dishes. If you care to donate a salad or desert, it will be greatly appreciated. Join us for good food and fun and refreshments.
