The Forman Valley Community Foundation (FVCF) is pleased to announce that two grants have been funded to the Forman Park District.

The first grant of $75,000 will be used towards building a new concessions building with restrooms and storage in Memorial Park towards the back of the park. The John D. Phillips and Frances O'Connell Funds within the FVCF provided the money for this request.

The second grant will be used to fund three free swim days this summer at the Memorial Park Aquatic Center in Manito . The money was provided from the Hal and Elsie Willett Fund.

The Forman Valley Community Foundation (FVCF) is pleased to announce a $980 grant was issued to the Midwest Central District #191. The grant will be used to purchase training equipment for the district’s Cardiac Emergency Response Team. The Dr. Nelson A. Wright Memorial Fund within the FVCF provided the money needed for this request. The generosity of our communities to the FVCF provides funding for our grants. Forman Valley Community Foundation Grant

The Forman Valley Community Foundation (FVCF) is taking grant applications for the first half of 2026. The deadline for submitting completed applications is March 1, 2026. This grant period will have less funding available for this round of grants due to higher funding levels to recipients last grant period. The FVCF’s purpose is to assist projects in the fields of education, arts, health, human services, community service or community development, and community issues. Qualified organizations within the Midwest Central School District #191 may apply for a grant. Request a current grant application by emailing [email protected] and an updated application will be emailed to you. Applications are updated each grant period.

The Forman Valley Community Foundation (FVCF) is pleased to announce a $3,550 grant was issued to the Forman Valley Public Library. The grant will be used to run their Programs and Services for the Community. The Florence Hovey Library Fund within the FVCF provided the money needed for this request. The generosity of our communities to the FVCF provides funding for our grants. The Forman Valley Community Foundation (FVCF) is pleased to announce that a $75,000 grant has been approved for the Forman Park District. The grant will be used towards building a new concessions building with restrooms and storage in Memorial Park towards the back of the park. This grant will be funded if the park district is able to get the remaining funding in place for the entire project by April 30, 2026. The generosity of our communities to the FVCF provides funding for our grants.

UPDATE: The fire department needs about $5,000 more in donations to make this important equipment purchase. Please donate to them at any Havana National Bank location or directly to the Forman Fire Protection District.

The grant will be used towards purchasing a new Grain Bin Rescue Vacuum. The John D. Phillips and Frances O'Connell Funds within the FVCF provided the money needed for this request.
