Your generosity does make a difference in the lives of our graduates!

As a foundation, we have just concluded our most satisfying time of the year. Scholarships have been awarded to deserving graduates. And while we are thrilled with the ability to award these scholarships, we will never lose sight of the fact that it is this community, as a whole, whose generosity has made this possible. With over $1,000,000 of capital invested from you, our graduates are getting a nice financial head start.
So it is with great humility that we continue our quest to raise funds for our future graduates.
Congratulations class of 2019!!

Our foundation's favorite time of the year is fast approaching! May 22nd is the annual awards banquet in the high school auditorium.
This is also when we are able to award scholarships to well-deserving graduates moving on to the college of their choice.
Through the generous contributions of our community, our foundation balance has exceeded $1,000,000 and the interest generated from that generosity will be used to fund the scholarships.
It is never too late to assist us in our mission to help as many of our students as possible.
If you would like to be part of our mission, please send your tax deductible contribution to the Foundation in care of Manistique Area Schools.
Thank you for your financial help and congratulations in advance to those seniors who will be awarded a scholarship!!

MANISTIQUE – Just 35 years after its inception, the Manistique Area Schools Scholarship Foundation has reached its $1 million goal. The organization catapulted to the milestone after a recent $75,000 donation.

02/12/2018

In August, 1983 the Manistique Area Schools Scholarship Foundation was created with a goal in mind to offer financial scholarships to Manistique High School college bound students. The organization set a lofty goal of someday reaching $1,000,000 in principal donations to the organization with interest received on investments going to fund the scholarships.
It is with great pride and sincere appreciation that we announce that the Foundation has reached it's $1,000,000 goal and we now set our sites on the next $1,000,000.
It is with equal pride that we announce the Foundation has awarded over $550,000 in scholarships since our inception.
With that in mind, we remind Manistique High School seniors planning on attending college to apply for a scholarship soon!
Our deep thanks to our many, many contributors for making this exceptional milestone possible!!
