What started as a vision in 2008, became a Nonprofit in 2011 and opened its doors to serve Women in Recovery in 2015; the Butterfly House Transitional Living Home has served God, by loving others for 10 and 1/2 years. We are closing our doors as a transitional living home and will continue to serve in another capacity as the Manila Food Pantry and Clothes Closet.
We want to thank the countless volunteers who helped renovate the house, replace the windows, make the house a home , led Bible studies, spent the night with the ladies, made them feel loved and became their family. We thank all of our sponsors and donors and prayer warriors and mentors and everyone single person that has helped and been supportive of our ministry. I want to thank Coty Willyerd Sparks for her faithful service as House Manager ❤️ She is awesome!
Please scroll through all the photos and I promise you will smile. All the fundraisers and fellowship and the drivers licenses obtained and fines paid off and most of all, families that were reunited and even if that wasn’t possible, new families and communities of love that was created by Gods Grace and Mercy.
We loved every resident.
We told them the Truth about Jesus and His Mercy
We gave them the opportunity to experience stability and safety and love.
We gave them structure and helped them find jobs and get their GED and learn to be responsible.
We helped them learn to be loved and overcome shame and guilt.
God used the Butterfly House to help many.
Thank you for being a part of those Miracles
We will share more information soon in a press release about the Food Pantry and Clothes Closet/ Community Services Center
God Bless each of you and May you continue to bless others because of His Love🙏🏻
Yours in Christ,
Danna
