Place's Call Y'All! Chicago area stage managers - please join us on Monday, October 12 for our next monthly gathering in honor of International Stage Management Day!

We are celebrating by figuring out what awards we should give ourselves! Most Punctual? Best Line Notes? Easiest to Read Daily Call? Everyone deserves an award!

We'll meet at First Slice from 6:00-8:00pm.

SMA Membership encouraged but not required.

On this International Stage Management Day, we especially want to recognize our award recipients for 2026!

On Monday, October 26, 2026 we will be honoring and celebrating these outstanding stage managers at the Del Hughes Awards, live-streamed from New York City from 7:30-10:00pm ET.

This year's award recipients are:
