Join fellow creators for an evening of making zines! Monty from Monty Johnson will be there to share expertise, answer questions, and help bring your ideas to life. All skill levels are welcome. Some supplies will be provided, or bring your own!

It’s Fiddle Jam night! 🎻

Join us tonight from 7–9 PM PM for Fiddle Jam, hosted by Derrick Doty!

And it’s not just for fiddles! All acoustic instruments, ages, and skill levels are welcome. Rather than sticking to one genre, we’ll explore traditional and contemporary fiddle tunes, from Irish and Bluegrass to Old-Time and beyond, with a focus on dance tunes.

This week we are viewing The Monster Squad (1987) directed by Fred Dekker. A group of young kids form a fan club for Universal Monsters called The Monster Squad. When real monsters descend on their hometown with the goal of finding an amulet that will give them the power to rule the world, the group of friends rally together to fight against the invasion.

Hosted by Derrick Doty, the Fiddle Jam is not just for fiddles. It’s open to all acoustic instruments! It’s also open to all ages and skill levels. Jamming is a great way to build your repertoire and improve your skills. Rather than being genre-specific, like Irish, Bluegrass, Old-Time, etc, we’ll embrace all traditional and contemporary fiddle tunes, with a focus on dance tunes.

We have made the decision to cancel our October 3 First Saturday Art Market.

We won’t be continuing the First Saturday Art Markets for the foreseeable future. Thank you so much to everyone who has participated in the markets and shared your work. We really appreciate all of the artists who have been a part of them!
