Real impact starts with people who choose to show up. This National 4-H Volunteer Week, we’re celebrating the volunteers who not only give their time, but inspire youth to lead, mentor others, and give back in their own ways. Because of you, the next generation isn’t just learning—they’re stepping up and making a difference. Thank you for investing in youth and being the difference. Ready to make your impact? Step in, show up, and be the reason someone else believes they can too.

From Kansas to the nation’s capital, Emily and Miles, along with other Kansas youth, attended the Ignite Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. Surrounded by other leaders, they gained new ideas, built connections, and stepped outside their comfort zones. Emily participated in the Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) track, exploring government, debating real-world issues, hearing from inspiring speakers, and visiting national monuments, gaining a deeper sense of civic responsibility. Miles followed the Healthy Living path, focusing on wellness and leadership while connecting with others who share similar passions. Through these experiences, they discovered what it truly means to lead with purpose.
