They are looking for a host families for two boys. The host family doesn't have to be in 4-H. Be a part of a wonderful summer experience!

This is your special invitation to have a once-in-a-lifetime family experience this summer! We are looking for 30 families to host a Japanese boy or girl, aged 12 to 17, who will be visiting Kansas from July 23 to Aug. 15th. They want to experience life in America and be a part of a Kansas 4-H family. Get more information and start your application, https://www.states4hexchange.org/apply/host/.

It’s time to think about what your family’s summer plans will be. Any Kansas family with children aged 10-18, who is interested in the Japanese culture, may host. A separate bed is required, but not necessarily a separate room from the host sibling. Delegates are 100 percent medically covered with 4-H insurance and bring their own spending money. They can go on host family vacations, camping trips, or join their similarly-aged host sibling for summer camps. The focus is everyday family life.
