Meet Lizzie! 🏔️😊

Born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, Lizzie brings contagious joy, boundless energy, and a deep love for the outdoors wherever she goes. Whether she’s dancing down the trail, sharing candy with the group, or spotting wildflowers and wildlife along the way, Lizzie knows how to make every adventure unforgettable. ☀️🌼

Growing up exploring the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and road-tripping across the West with her family, Lizzie developed a lifelong connection to wild places. She attended Westminster University in Salt Lake City, where she studied Elementary Education and Environmental Studies, combining her passion for teaching with her love of the natural world. 🏕️📚

Since graduating, Lizzie has worked as a teacher, outdoor educator, and guide, helping young people build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of adventure. When she’s not backpacking, you can find her skiing, fishing, trail running, identifying bugs, sitting on rocks, or enjoying a well-earned ice cream after a day outside. 🐻🍦

Alpengirls! While we are a tech-free program, we do allow digital cameras and disposable/film cameras! It’s a great way to snap some memories on the trail from the camper POV😊

Our guides will also take photos throughout the session. You can opt in to purchase the album before or after your trip. All money from camp photos goes toward camperships🫶

Meet Ally! 🌲

Ally is from Duvall, Washington, Ally brings endless enthusiasm, a love for adventure, and a calm confidence that helps everyone feel capable of taking on new challenges. ☀️⛰️

Growing up exploring campgrounds and forests barefoot, Ally developed a deep connection to the natural world from an early age. She later attended a Wilderness School where she learned skills like plant identification, friction fire, and tree climbing, building the foundation for a lifelong passion for outdoor education. 🔥

Ally studies Zoology at Oregon State University and works as an adventure guide through the university. Her love for learning has taken her around the world, with experiences ranging from wildlife rehabilitation to hospitality, always seeking new adventures and opportunities to grow. 🦎✈️

Meet Isa! 😆🥾

Isa grew up in New Zealand with a love for reading. She was a self described “bookworm”. Now, she still loves to read while also getting to live out those adventures as an avid outdoorswoman. She currently lives near Sydney, Australia where she works educating young people about the Australian backcountry. 📚✈️

In 2024, Isa hiked the entire Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada over four and half months. She built an incredible sense of personal resilience and strong connections with all the wonderful people she met on her journey.🌄

Isa is a devoted list-maker and lover of crafts! She has a knack for mending just about anything from gear to well-loved camp essentials. She loved planning and keeping things organized and fun!

Meet Claire! 🏔️🐙

Originally from Eagle, Colorado, Claire brings a joyful spirit, endless curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the natural world wherever she goes. ☀️🌲

Claire’s family lives in Colorado on a family homestead filled with fruit trees, horses, chickens, and more bees than anyone could count. Through that little slice of heaven, she developed a lifelong love for adventure, community, and getting her hands dirty outdoors. 🌎💛

She went to school at Centre College in Danville, KY. She graduated with a Biology degree and studied climate dynamics and coal mining pollution and their
combined impact on snails.🐌

Claire is a great listener and an enthusiastic trail game leader! She is most excited to build meaningful relationships with campers and fellow Alpenguides while helping create unforgettable outdoor experiences at Alpengirl Camp 2026! 🏕️💚

Originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky, Sam brings boundless energy, an adventurous spirit, and a genuine love for connecting with people and the natural world. ☀️

When she’s not exploring the outdoors, Sam is studying Natural Resources at the University of Kentucky and pursuing a photography minor. With experience as a teacher and a lifelong love of the outdoors sparked by Girl Scouts, she brings both enthusiasm and confidence to every adventure. 📸🌎💛

Sam is most excited to build meaningful relationships with campers and co-guides, experience the beauty of Yellowstone, and help empower the next generation of rowdy, outdoorsy women at Alpengirl Camp 2026! 🏕️
