East Side Escalades

East Side Escalades East Side Escalades is a grassroots basketball program located in the Upper East and West Sides of Manhattan and midtown.

The East Side Escalades' offer boys and girls basketball for 4th through 12th grade in Manhattan at various locations. We offer the highest level of middle and high school AAU travel basketball in NYC and our youth basketball is second to none. The Escalades play man-to-man defense until high school as we believe that playing zone defense with young kids is awful for development and without learni

ng man-to-man you are only learning half the game. Our offense is run without set plays as a progressive system that we add to each year. This ensures that all players touch the ball and everyone is always moving. The most important thing about the Escalades is our commitment to diversity. We want kids and teen basketball players from every background to play together, kids who would never have met each other otherwise. The East Side Escalades are a 501c-3 organization and are thankful for any donations.
