Sadly, our time as Board Members of the Manhattan Schools PTO is coming to an end!
Who wants to join in the fun?!? We are looking for our next round of great board members to join the PTO! Here’s the scoop:
📚The PTO serves ALL 3️⃣ schools
📆 Each board position is a 2-year term
📌Meetings are held monthly
⏳Time commitment is as little or as much as you make it - as they say, “many hands make light work”
🟠President: Our fearless leader! Runs the meetings, is the go-to person for questions and is the liaison between the school and all the moving parts.
⚫️VP: The President’s right hand…runs meetings in the absence of the Pres, and helps facilate events, ect
🟠Secretary: Writes the agenda (with input from the board), & writes the meeting minutes
⚫️Treasurer: Deposits any fundraising money, issues checks for reimbursement and balances the budget for monthly reporting
🟠 Web Master: Our social media guru that posts on the page and all the behind-the-scenes web stuff.
If you are interested in any of these open positions, please shoot us an email BEFORE April 7th.
All four of the current board members are happy to help transition the new board over the next few months —we aren’t going anywhere!
