This week, we’re celebrating our amazing coaches!

May 23–30, we will be recognizing the coaches who use the game of golf to help young people build character, confidence and life skills that carry far beyond the course.

At First Tee – Manhattan, our coaches are the heartbeat of our programs. Throughout First Tee Week, we’ll be sharing our Dear Coach video series to highlight some of the outstanding coaches who show up, encourage, teach, listen and believe in our participants.

Congratulations to Charlie Haney on being selected to compete in the 2026 National Championship!

Charlie will represent First Tee – Manhattan June 21–25 at the University of North Carolina’s Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The First Tee National Championship brings together top First Tee high school golfers from across the country for a 54-hole stroke play event.

Earning this opportunity for a second straight year is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are proud that Charlie will once again represent First Tee – Manhattan nationally.

Congratulations, Charlie! We can’t wait to cheer you on in Chapel Hill!

⛳️ With the new year coming, I wanted to honor Korbin each year on his birthday with an annual golf tournament! Korbin's birthday is April 19th and what more perfect way to celebrate than have a tournament for his birthday!?! No doubt in my mind, we would be on the course that day... regardless!
