As opening night approaches, we want to send the largest thank you to every single individual that supported us during the pandemic. The love and interaction we received from our supporters everywhere has carried us through the last year and we carry that love onto the stage tonight. With the utmost gratitude and the greatest joy, we cannot wait to perform for you all. Thank you again from, The Dancers of New York City Ballet!

Check it out! Nite of Spring, is an exciting chamber ballet in four movements set to a newly commissioned musical composition by Jeremey Beck. Independently produced by Derek Ratzenboeck, choreographed by Skyla Schreter, and designed by Lauren Carmen, Nite of Spring features twelve musicians and dancers of NYCB. Hello everyone! We would like share an organization with you all today that is important to members within and outside our dance community.

Dancers Amplified is a global, artist-led organization that provides support and aid to its network of dancers with resources to better oneself, the companies we work for, and the communities we live in. With focus on communication, knowledge sharing and information gathering, we are actively dissolving the separatist culture in dance. We believe in the inherent activist nature that resides within us and our ability to embody it beyond the means in which our art form facilitates. We are dedicated to lifting up voices of color through our website, newsletter, blog, social media channels and podcast. Dancers Amplified is actively cultivating partnerships with other organizations with similar goals of celebrating diversity, providing inclusion and equity, and creating access to opportunities to create art and be heard.

Dancers Amplified is a fiscal sponsorship of The International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD) and actively involved with the Equity Project.

UPDATE!!! Hello everyone! We are happy to announce that we will be recording a select few classes from our digital intensive (2/15-2/21)! You will be able to purchase classes on an individual basis or as a complete bundle (for a discount). If you purchased and attended a class with a recording you have automatic access to that class’s recording. Recorded classes will be available to watch the day after they have taken place, up until February 28th. After February 28th the link will expire so make sure you get your dancing in before its too late!!

We are very excited to announce that we have added Beginner Level Classes and Kid’s Ballet classes to our schedule. We have had a lot of requests for these classes and we want to have as many of you attend as possible! We apologize for the wait and we cannot wait to see you on zoom!

The Dancers of the New York City Ballet Present a “Digital Intensive”! Join some of the esteemed members of the New York City Ballet for a week of inspiration, hard work, and fun! With more than 4 classes per day, you are bound to find a class that will feed your soul! We are offering technique, pointe, variations, men’s classes, workouts, meditation, artistic conversations, and repertory workshops with choreographers who have worked with New York City Ballet! Our dancers will also be attending the classes so don’t miss out on this amazing chance to dance with us!

Despite performing together nightly, NYCB dancers and orchestra members rarely have the opportunity to chat. With the hope of forming a stronger bond with the orchestra so we can return to the theater with a deeper appreciation and understanding of each other's work, NYCB Soloist, Brittany Pollack and NYCB violist, Alexis Sykes sat down for our inaugural and discussed their childhood, education, favorite ballets, and more!
