With the next few days of extreme heat, you need to do everything you can to protect yourself!

1. Make sure you have plenty of fluids and electrolytes. Don't just drink water, add Gatorade, Powerade, Liquid IV, etc to keep your electrolytes up!

2. Apply sunscreen! Keep your skin safe!

3.Utilize comfort stops to give your body a break from the heat. Do not wait until it's too late. Get out of the sun, get into an air conditioned building to help keep your core temperature down.

4. Monitor your urine color! This can tell you a lot of what your body is doing.

5. Avoid heavy meals during the workdays.

6. Hydrate after work as well. Help your body recover and prepare for the next workday.

7. If you are feeling faint, dizzy, nauseous, get into air conditioning immediately!!

8. Do not let management push you into danger, you control your own safety, just as the slogan says "Safety Depends on Me", use it.
