URGENT: Disaster in Haiti - Magnitude 7.2 Earthquake strikes

“We are deeply saddened by the reports of casualties and heavy damage following the earthquake earlier Saturday in Haiti”
Bright Lite Charity is on the ground in the aftermath of a devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Haiti on Saturday morning, August 14, where children were already suffering amidst surging COVID-19 cases, severe acute malnutrition and gang violence. The death toll is expected to reach into the thousands.
Childrens and families may have been displaced as a result of the earthquake and could be in urgent need of shelter, food, medical care, safe water and hygiene supplies.
We stand in solidarity with families and children during this difficult time.” Bright Lite is working with partners to rush vital assistance.
