The Leadership Manhattan Beach (LMB) 2016 class is promoting fun and health in our community by installing concrete outdoor ping-pong tables in our MB city parks as a donation to the city.
If LMB raises enough money, then they will be able to install multiple tables. Their goal of raising $40,000 will allow them to place the tables in numerous spots around MB (both east and west MB).
As CORE was founded by Manhattan Beach residents to help keep Sand Dune Park open to and for the public, this project aligns perfectly with our goals: improving our public parks.
Our friend, Jen Myers, is working on a park enhancing project as a member of the 2016 Class of Leadership Manhattan Beach (LMB). The goal of LMB is to develop community leaders through an annual 9-month program that culminates in a project benefiting the entire city. This year’s class is focusing…
