If you’ve spent any time around Waves of Recovery, you’ve probably met Tiffany.

She’s more than a sponsor. She’s become a friend to our community, someone who shows up, gets to know the people behind the project, and believes in the healing that happens out here.

Through The Stanley Fund for Recovery, which she founded in honor of her dad, Tiffany Yu has helped us continue making space for people to experience the ocean, connection, and recovery in a whole new way.

We asked Tiffany what she loves about Waves of Recovery, and we think her answer says a lot about the kind of community we’re building.

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded that taking care of our minds is just as important as taking care of our bodies.

A gentle reminder to slow down, check in with yourself, connect with the people you love, and make space for the things that support your well-being.

Mental health looks different for everyone, and sometimes the smallest acts of self-care, kindness, and connection can make the biggest difference.

Remember, you don’t have to navigate it all alone. It’s okay to reach out, ask for support, and take things one day at a time 🫶
