Please see below for St Mary’s CYO alum Jimmy Regan. The Regan family is also a big supporter of our program.

Jimmy’s Run will take place in Jimmy’s hometown of Manhasset, Long Island. This 5K fun run/walk will stroll down memory lane will pass by the home Jimmy grew up in, the elementary school he attended and the field named in his honor.
The event will occur on September 11, 2022 at Mary Jane Davies Park. This day is not only special to the Regan family but all of the lives affected and still impacted by the events on 9/11. We want to use this day to Honor and Remember all of those who sacrificed their lives on this day, because of this day and still to this day fighting the Global War on Terrorism. A soldier may leave the war, but the war never leaves the soldier.

The registration and check-in for the run will begin at 9:00 AM at Mary Jane Davies Park. Once registration is closed the lineup for the race will begin at 10:00 AM. Following the run there will be post-race celebrations in the parking lot of the park which will includes festivities such as live entertainment by the Meade brothers band, kid friendly actives, food, beverages and much more! Please considering joining us on this special day to celebrate the lives of those taken and thank the ones still here with us today. Help us to help them!

REGISTRATION for THE 2022-2023 ST MARYS CYO GIRLS GRADES 3-8 TRAVEL BASKETBALL SEASON IS OPEN!



Welcome to the 2022-2023 St Mary's CYO Basketball Season.



The information below is for Girls Travel Basketball for Grades 3-8 (as of September 2022) ONLY.



Information for Boys Travel Basketball for Grades 3-8, Boys High School Travel Basketball, and St Mary's Grades K-3rd Basketball Clinics will be released in the next few weeks.



St Mary's CYO would love to accommodate everyone who wants to play for St Mary’s CYO, but gym space and scheduling is limited. Consequently, only children of St Mary’s Parishioners, or students enrolled in St Mary’s schools or children attending any school in Manhasset are eligible to participate.



Registration will be open from Friday August 26th through Friday September 9th 2022.

THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR GIRLS ONLY.

Boys Grades 3-8 Travel Basketball registration will open shortly.

Registration for High School Boys Travel Basketball and St Marys K-3rd grade clinics will open in November.



Evaluations for team placement will take place September 10th and 11th and times and locations will be sent out shortly. Teams for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade will be made as evenly as possible. For 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams, players will be put on teams based upon their abilities, attitude and sportsmanship. These evaluations will be done by local independent coaches outside the program.



The season runs from October 14th until Jan 8th. For grades 5-8 there are playoffs for eligible teams that go until February 11th.



Practices for each team will begin the week of September 19th. (Day and Times will vary for each team based on the coaches and gym availability). Each team will have 1 practice during the week and then games are usually on weekends.



Uniforms will be provided for the girls, so please make sure to mark down your daughters correct size. The uniforms will be the same brand / style as last year.



The fee this year will be $295.00

ST MARY'S CYO BASKETBALL CLINICS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS GRADES K-3



Registration is for St Mary's CYO Basketball Clinics for Grades K-3 is now open!



Registration will be open from Friday November 5th to Wednesday November 17th. Please share this information with friends and neighbors.



***ANY REGISTRATIONS AFTER NOVEMBER 17TH WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $50.00 LATE FEE***

The clinics will be on Saturday's on the following dates:

December 4th, 11th & 18th , January 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th, February 5th, 12th & 26th, March 5th & 12th (12 Sessions).



Clinics will be run by coaches from Hoops 101 and will be an hour long and will be focusing on teaching the kids basketball skills and keeping them engaged so their love of the game grows.



PLEASE NOTE - Clinics will be held in Manhasset School District Gyms so coaches and players will be required to follow COVID-19 Protocols currently in place in the District. This means that everyone will be required to wear masks at all times while in the gyms.



Pinnies will be provided for the players, so please make sure to mark down your child's correct size.



The fee this year will be $210



The tentative BOYS' clinic schedule is:

11am-12noon - Kindergarten (A-L)

12noon-1pm - Kindergarten (M-Z)

1-2pm - 1st Grade (A-L)

2-3pm - 1st Grade (M-Z)

3-4pm - 2nd & 3rd (A-L)

5-6pm - 2nd & 3rd (M-Z)



The tentative GIRLS' clinic schedule is:

12:30-1:30pm - Kindergarten

1:30-2:20pm - 1st Grade

2:30-3:30pm - 2nd & 3rd (A-L)

3:30-4:30pm - 2nd & 3rd (M-Z)
