Manhasset/Great Neck Head Start The Head Start program offers a comprehensive full day, full year early childhood program designed to meet individual needs of 3 & 4 year old children.

The Head Start Program is a program of the United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families. Children from income-eligible families must be 3 years of age prior to December 1st and live in Manhasset, Great Neck, Roslyn, or Port Washington to be considered for enrollment.

We learned all about bees and how they help us to grow fruit and vegetables. We read “ The Bee who lost her Buzz” and the “Greedy Bee”. We ended our week with a delicious hunny treat. 🐝🌸🌺
