At our monthly dinner meeting last night, Lion Keith from the Louisiana Lions Camp spoke about the history of the camp, the kids they serve and the different activities they can participate in. Everything is free of charge to the parents of the kids attending and transportation to and from camp is even available at no charge.

Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation, Inc. has updated the annual raffle this year. In recent years, there were two prizes, which included 2 CFP tickets with a New Year’s Eve stay in the French quarter as 1st prize and 2 CFP tickets being the 2nd prize.
This year, the “Eye on the Prize” raffle, now includes a new grand prize. It’s a Ranger 570 UTV plus a trailer. The other 2 prizes for CFP tickets and CFP tickets with a New Year’s Eve stay in the French Quarter are still prizes as part of this raffle. The cost of the tickets is now $5 per ticket. Click

Congratulations going out to PDG Lion Harry Theriot! Today, he was installed as the 2026-2027 President of the Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation! We would also like to congratulate Lion John, Lion Jeff and Lion Rachel on their installation as officers for the upcoming year.

We would also like to thank Lion Cathy for her leadership during the 2025-2026 year! It was a great year, and great things were accomplished under her leadership. The future of this foundation is looking BRIGHT! ☀️

Come spend a good time with us at the 5th Annual Mandeville Food Truck Festival. Food will be available from 20 trucks and there will also be several art & crafts vendors inside the hall for all those procrastinators that didn't get mom a present for Mother's Day.
