Today was a special day at Station 41 as the Mandeville Firefighters Association proudly made our annual donations, made possible through the proceeds from our T-shirt sales and our separate annual Christmas giving initiative to help a family in need during the holidays.

We were honored to welcome three of our four recipients to Station 41 to receive their checks and take photos with some of our firefighters:

• Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Covington
• Ellen John, a local resident courageously battling breast cancer
• A local family and one of our own, firefighter Hayden Bereziuk and his wife Hailey, whom we were proud to sponsor for Christmas this year

The Mandeville Firefighters Association is extremely grateful to be able to provide these donations each year and to help support individuals, families, and organizations in our community who are in need.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who purchased shirts, donated, and supported our efforts—none of this is possible without you. We are proud to serve this community and look forward to seeing what next year has in store.

Honoring Captain Greg Charrier
Today we proudly recognize and celebrate Captain Greg Charrier for 25 years of dedicated service to the Mandeville Fire Department. Greg has been a steadfast leader, a trusted brother, and a committed union member whose impact on our department and our community will be felt for years to come.

His professionalism, mentorship, and unwavering dedication have set a standard we all strive to follow. As he steps into a well-earned retirement, we thank him for his decades of sacrifice and service.

Congratulations, Captain Charrier — enjoy your next chapter. You’ve more than earned it.

🎁 Mandeville Firefighter Union Local 3704 Proudly Assisting With the Holiday Toy Distribution 🎄

The Greater Mandeville Police Foundation is hosting its annual Holiday Toy Distribution on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Mandeville Lions Club, 720 Lafitte Street. This event supports residents of Ward 4 only and children under 13, helping ensure every child in our community has a brighter holiday season.

Local 3704 is honored to partner in this effort by helping collect and distribute toys to families in need.

🚒 We now have collection boxes at all Mandeville Fire Stations, and we’re asking our community to join us in making a difference.

You can donate by:
• Dropping off new, unwrapped toys at the Mandeville Fire Department, Mandeville Police Department, or any Liberty Storage location.
• Making a tax-deductible monetary donation by writing a check to Greater Mandeville Police Foundation and mailing or delivering it to the Mandeville Police Department or the Foundation office at 1580 W. Causeway Approach, Suite 2, Mandeville, LA 70471.

Your generosity helps local families directly and brings joy to children right here at home. Thank you for supporting this important community tradition.

Members of the St. Tammany Parish Peer-to-Peer Support Team are beginning their training this week at the Mandeville Fire Training Facility.

This dedicated team of first responders will offer confidential support and guidance to their fellow first responders, drawing from their own experiences.
