What We Sow Foundation is now accepting applications to be a beneficiary of the 2026 Navonathon Fundraiser.

We welcome applications from individuals, families, or organizations supporting children and families facing unforeseen circumstances, including medical crises, loss of a loved one, emergencies, and other unexpected hardships.

This is a youth-centered award, and assistance must directly benefit a child, children, or a family with children experiencing a crisis or significant hardship.

📍 Applicants must reside in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.

Awards are based on demonstrated need and available resources. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until otherwise specified.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this support, we encourage you to apply or share this opportunity with a family in need. 💙

If you are the parents of K-8th grade children with special needs, in St.Tammany Parish, please take a look at what What We Sow Foundation is doing with financial assistance through The Mason Gaines Legacy Award. Apply September 9 through October 30, 2026.

💙 The Mason Gaines Legacy Award Applications Open TODAY! 💙

This award honors the life and legacy of Mason Nakia Gaines by providing financial assistance to K–8th grade children with special needs in St. Tammany Parish.

The award helps families obtain adaptive equipment, supplies, and services that support their child’s growth, independence, and ability to thrive.

Selected recipients will receive awards ranging from $100 to $1,500 based on demonstrated need and available resources. Amount varies for organizations serving many children.

Linda Springer and I are so grateful to Friends on the Spectrum for welcoming us into your meeting and allowing us the opportunity to listen, learn, and better understand the needs and wants of these amazing young adults and their families.

We are especially thankful for everyone’s participation, openness, and willingness to share their thoughts, experiences, ideas, and hopes for the future.
