Double the teams, double the impact!

It's another great day on our Habitat NW Women Build 2026 construction site! Today, two incredible partners traded their everyday routines for hard hats and hammers, bringing plenty of energy, teamwork, and helping hands!

Louisiana Healthcare Connections, one of our valued Neighborhood Builder sponsors, showed up ready to work and make a difference!

Blue Williams, LLC, a dedicated Leadership Builder sponsor, brought their team spirit and commitment to community right onto the construction site!

These amazing partners do more than support our mission financially. They show up, get involved, and help turn the dream of affordable homeownership into reality for local families.

Proceeds from the 12th Annual Quack-A-Falaya Rubber Duck Race supported several local nonprofits, and we are honored to be among the beneficiaries!

We are grateful to the Covington Rotary Foundation for presenting Habitat NW with a check and for their continued commitment to making a difference in our community. Their generosity helps us continue our mission of building homes, communities, and hope for local families.

Thank you for turning a fun community tradition into meaningful impact!

Three amazing groups, one incredible mission!

Our Habitat NW Women Build 2026 construction site was buzzing with activity today as three fantastic groups rolled up their sleeves to help build a brighter future for a local family!

A BIG thank you to:

Gulf Coast Bank, our valued Leadership Builder sponsor, for your generous support and hands-on commitment to affordable homeownership!

Home Bank, a dedicated Family Builder sponsor, for investing in our mission and bringing your team out to make a difference!

Covington Garden Club/Erwin Family, for sharing your time, donation, energy, and helping hands to move our Women Build home closer to completion!

Different teams, but all working toward the same goal—helping a local family achieve the strength, stability, and independence of homeownership.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today! Your hard work, generosity, and community spirit are what make Habitat NW's mission possible. Together, we're building so much more than houses!

Hard hats, helping hands, and a whole lot of heart!

Resource Bank brought the teamwork to our Habitat NW Women Build 2026 construction site, and we loved having them on the job!

As one of our valued Leadership Builder sponsors, Resource Bank doesn't just invest in our mission—they show up and get involved! Their team spent the day working alongside our construction crew, helping turn building materials into something much bigger: a place a local family will soon call home.

It's this kind of community spirit that makes Women Build so special. Great things happen when local businesses and volunteers come together for a common purpose!

A huge thank you to Resource Bank for your continued generosity, hard work, and commitment to building brighter futures right here on the Northshore!

From Raising the First Wall to Cutting the Ribbon — Welcome Home, Goins Family!

What began with a wall raising has become a dream come true! Habitat for Humanity Northshore West proudly celebrated the completion of our 2026 Community Partners Build home with a special dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Ronterries Goins and her three children!

Back in March, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners gathered to raise the first wall of this home. Today, we celebrate the incredible journey from that first wall to a beautiful, safe, and affordable place the Goins family can call their own.

During the dedication, Brian Laiche, Vice President of Client Services at Netchex, shared remarks highlighting the company's commitment to giving back to the community and supporting opportunities that make a lasting difference for local families.

This milestone would not have been possible without the generosity and dedication of our Community Partners Build sponsors, including Visionary Builder sponsor Netchex, and the many volunteers who invested their time, talents, and resources to make this home a reality.

To everyone who played a part in this year's Community Partners Build, THANK YOU! You have helped build more than a house. You've helped create a foundation for stability, opportunity, and a brighter future for the Goins family.

Welcome home, Ronterries and family! We can't wait to see the memories you make here!
