Saturday, Feb. 15th, was another perfect day for approximately 100 young Experimental Aircraft Association Young Eagle Cadets, as they were introduced, up close & personal, to the highs & lows of general aviation. As EAA Chapter 479, Diamondhead, MS held it's semi-annual Young Eagle flight day. The weather was perfect for flying, & the turn out was about as good as it gets, as young flight candidates from local JROTC units, EAA members, Civil Air Patrol Cadets, etc., were present to make the day a complete success. Many thanks to the members, pilots, & officers of EAA 479 Diamondhead, MS for a job well done.
