This summer, Maddie completed her final year as an intern at PA Camp. Most know her for her incredible skill set, glistening personality, and unique talent as one of just a few fourth-year interns to have served PA. Most people reading this have had a small group with Maddie or know someone whose life she’s changed. We can’t thank her enough for her years of service, friendship, leadership, and love that she’s offered. She’s going to do such incredible things in college and throughout life, and we know her PA Camp legacy will live on!

And just like that… We close out the 44th summer of PA Camp! The campers are home, exhausted from having spent days growing into stronger versions of themselves through fun and learning. Our interns and counselors and staff are getting some much deserved rest after giving 100% of themselves. Now onto the business of continuing to inspire young people throughout the school year. Approximately 50 weeks from now, we will all gather together again. Until then…

It’s a great day to be alive ☀️ what an amazing week of Positive Action! Each and every one of you is so incredible. We already can’t wait for next year! ❤️

Twas the night before PA and all through the camp,
All the interns were stirring and the grounds outside were still damp!

The campers were still home, all snug in their beds, while all of the interns were going out of their heads!

When from the main room there arose such a clatter, so I ran from the kitchen to see what was the matter.

Away to the main room I flew with a flash, tripped over some decorations and fell with a splash. When what to my wondering eyes should appear but a bunch of PA interns and all of their bags full of gear...

They were dressed in weird clothes from their head to their feet, And trust me when I say that room was anything but neat...

Their eyes how they twinkled, their their dimples how merry,
I've got to admit it was a little bit scary!

They never stopped speaking as they all did their work...they got that room ready and here's one final perk...

As I walked off to bed, I'm sure I heard those kids scream,
Hey we not done yet, where's our faithful A-Team??

I'm sure it will be ready, and they will set all those things right...happy PA to all, and to all a good night!
