Dear MHS Classmates & Friends -

I am deeply saddened to announce that Scott Smither recently passed away. Scott was living in Austin TX but still has so many friends and loved ones living close to Mandeville and around the country.

To honor and remember Scott, we will have a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, August 26th, from 2:00 - 4:00 at Covington Country Club. All MHS classmates and friends are more than invited and we hope you can join us.

Scott was a beloved classmate and a wonderful person - he will be incredibly missed by so many. Please keep Scott's family, Detrice Roy Smither, and their boys in your thoughts and prayers.

We will certainly provide more announcements and updates in the coming days.

Not that we ever need an excuse to get together but we have one this weekend! Todd Flettrich is coming home to visit so we decided - let's have a party. As Angel said, "let’s forget we’re 50, and drink like we’re 20!"

Party will be Saturday at Angel Patron Hall's house - her husband Mike is a Saint. Their address is 212 Esquiance Drive, Mandeville 70448 in Lewisburg on the Lake. Party gets going at 5:00.

It’s not a hosted formal thing, it’s more just a casual, show up, drink, have fun and hang out kind-of thing.

Bring your drink, and if you want, feel free to bring a dish to share. We’ll have a half keg of ultra, mixers/cups and a some foodies.

So, if you live in the area and just need a good excuse to come visit, come on. We hope we see you on Saturday.
