Meet Nonnie! ❤️

This sweet girl is a 2-year-old mixed breed weighing about 34 pounds. Nonnie came into rescue with her 8 puppies, the Breakfast Pups, when they were just 2½ weeks old. She was removed from a home where her owner was struggling with severe mental health challenges and could no longer provide the care that Nonnie and her puppies needed.

Now that her puppies are growing up and finding homes of their own, it’s finally Nonnie’s turn to find the forever family she deserves.

Nonnie is truly the total package. She is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She enjoys chasing squirrels and birds in the yard, but she’s just as happy relaxing on the couch with her people. Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a fetch enthusiast, or a cuddle companion, Nonnie is happy to match your energy.

She has been friendly with every person and dog she has met and has a loving, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around.

After spending the last several months devoted to raising her puppies, Nonnie is ready for her second chance at a happy life. She has given so much love to others, now it’s time for someone to give that love back to her.

On Mother’s Day, someone reached out about two tiny puppies who had been dumped in a ditch and left to fend for themselves. They were severely malnourished, but despite everything they had endured, they were the sweetest little pittie mixes. We named them Treasure and Trinket.

Treasure has already found her forever home, but this week we received an unexpected call from a nearby shelter. They had seen our post about Treasure and Trinket and had a puppy come into their care who looked just like them.

The puppy had been found four days after Treasure and Trinket and low and behold in the exact same location.

Somehow, when Treasure and Trinket were discovered, this little girl had been missed. She remained there alone for four more days, enduring rain, hunger, and who knows what else before finally being found. By the time she arrived at the shelter, she was in very rough shape. Staff weren’t sure she would survive, but day by day she grew a little stronger.

The moment we found out, we knew we had to bring her into rescue. Thankfully, Trinket’s foster family agreed to open their home to one more puppy.

We named her Tidbit.

The best part? She was absolutely thrilled to see her brother again. Despite everything she has been through, Tidbit couldn’t be sweeter. She is soaking up love, good food, and a safe place to rest as she continues on her road to recovery.

🐷 Miss Piggy’s Famous Piglets Are Looking for Homes! 🐷

Meet Miss Piggy’s litter of adorable little piglets! While their names may be inspired by famous pigs, these scruffy-faced cuties are definitely all puppy.

Mom, Miss Piggy, weighs about 34 pounds and is short, squatty, and absolutely charming. She has a naturally short tail, and several of her puppies inherited the same adorable feature. Dad remains a mystery, but whatever breeds make up this family, they combined to create some incredibly cute puppies!

These babies are currently 6 weeks old and are growing into happy, playful, affectionate little companions.

* Wilbur

Because we have no idea what breeds are involved, we can’t predict exactly how they’ll look or how large they’ll be as adults, but with Mom being only 34 pounds, we think they will be in the medium size range.

🥯🍊🥞BREAKFAST PUPPIES☕️🍳🥣

These scrumptious little puppies are looking for their forever homes! If you meet them, you will definitely want to eat them up 😊 Check out Pancake, Coffee, Biscuit, Waffles, Oatmeal, Bagel and Cinnamon Toast. Every day will be a good day when you start your day with these precious, loving puppies!

The breakfast club puppies are almost 12 weeks old, crate trained, dog and kid friendly, and already working on potty training in their foster homes! Mom was around 35 pounds and a terrier mix and Dad was also a mix, but coming in at 80 pounds so this litter will be medium to large dogs when full grown.

All of these sweet pups are scheduled to be at our adoption event, tomorrow, Saturday, May 30, from 11-1 at PetSmart in Covington! Come say hi!👋 🐾

Please acquaint yourself with Luna. That coat, those ears, that SMILE!! Luna is so, soooo sweet. She’s 8 years old, housebroken, and doesn’t need to be in a crate as she won’t do anything destructive. She really wants to be by your side-literally. She would be very happy to just lay or sit next to you all day long. She does great with the other dogs in her foster home and leaves the cats alone. BUT people are her favorite. She loves hoomans of all ages and she just wants to be loved. It’s ok if you have a job, but she’d prefer a 💯 of your attention if that’s possible. ❤️😂

This good boy is Trinket, a 9 week old absolutely precious pittie mix. He loves snuggling and playing and he’s very well-mannered. He sleeps through the night in his kennel and he’s doing great with potty manners.

He loves the dogs, cats, and children in his foster home….. and in a perfect world, the cats would love him in return.

Aside from that ridiculous level of cuteness, you need to know this good girl slept all night, on her first night alone! She’s a good listener and she’s doing great with potty manners.

She loves cuddles and kisses, but she also wants to play. She hasn’t been a pest, according to the big dogs in her foster home. She’d love to play with their cats but they need more time to accept her. Cats 🙄

Treasure is probably a pittie mix and she’s around 9 weeks old. She’s a doll who’d love a forever family, but she’s loving life in her foster home until she’s adopted.
