movement is based on a belief that Old Mandeville is too great a treasure to be left unprotected against the 'plans' of big institutions- sacred or secular- that seek to remake our town in their image. In May of 2010, a priest at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church implied inpublic prayer that people hold ing an opinion adverse to the construction of a new MegaChurch in the heart of Old Mandeville just might be part of the "Forces of Evil".
