🎓 Leadership St. Tammany Alumni Spotlight
Meet Jamie Andrepont.
💼 Occupation / Business Affiliation / Company
Director of Amazement & CEO at AFX Pro by FX Works, LLC.

-Why did you go through the Leadership St. Tammany program? What led to your decision to make that commitment?
At the time, I was working with the Northshore Food Bank and wanted to better understand the community I was serving. LST gave me the opportunity to learn more about St. Tammany while building relationships with people outside of my normal circle.

-What is the most important thing you got out of the program?
The relationships! Some of my absolute favorite people I met in LST. I also gained a much broader understanding of the inner workings of our community. LST showed me how many people and organizations are working behind the scenes to make St. Tammany such an amazing place to live and work.

-What have you done since graduation with the knowledge and insight you gained from the program? How has it had a continuing impact on you?
My career has changed quite a bit since LST! I purchased AFX Pro in 2022 from an LST classmate. Many of the relationships built also made it easy to stay involved in the community. In addition to volunteer opportunities within local nonprofits, I am currently the chair for the St. Tammany Chamber's Small Business Council and serve on the MPI Gulf States Chapter board. LST reinforced the value of staying connected and involved.

-What are you most passionate about?
I'm passionate about giving back and building authentic relationships. Having worked in the non-profit industry for most of my career, I know the value of support from local businesses. I make it my business to support the amazing organizations around me.

-What do you want other alumni to know about you?
I'm always happy to connect! I love sharing resources and finding ways for people and businesses to help one another. One of the best things about programs like LST is the network we continue to have long after graduation.

Thank you for being a Friend of Leadership St. Tammany, Jamie!

Join Leadership St. Tammany Revisited, hosted by the Alumni Foundation, for an informative, nonpartisan conversation designed to help St. Tammany residents better understand the taxes, millages, and public funding decisions that appear on our ballots.
The goal is to give you the facts about where your tax dollars go and put informed decision-making in your hands.
