Dear Homeowners and Residents,

The National Weather Service is forecasting a Hard Freeze Sunday through Monday night with temperatures dipping as low as 26 degrees in our area. As your water system provider, we highly recommend wrapping all external water pipes, faucets and backflow preventers to prevent breaks in the lines.

>BCHOA Public Works advises that in the event of a Hard Freeze Warning, all residents should take the necessary precautions, like wrapping their pipes, to prevent them from freezing and potentially bursting. This includes the above ground irrigation supply lines.

>Residents should also leave an inside faucet dripping throughout the freezing temperatures. This could be a faucet at the kitchen or bathroom sink.

>The Department of Animal Services asks pet owners to take precautions to safeguard the well-being of animals in their care, including bringing pets indoors. If you see an unsheltered pet, please call St. Tammany Parish Department of Animal Services at 985-809-0183.

For any water or sewer emergencies please call our main number at 985- 231-6285 and press #3.

Please head these warnings and stay warm!
