Summer will soon be over and Northlake Newcomers Club will be in full swing again. Your board has been hard at work this summer preparing to make the ‘26-‘27 year the best one yet! Make plans to join us for our Membership Breakfast in September to learn about the fun activities our club has to offer as well as all the philanthropic activities that define our club as one of the best on the Northshore!

Northlake Newcomers Club held their last monthly luncheon for this year today at Benedict’s Plantation in Mandeville. A fashion show sponsored by Chico’s was the perfect finale for a perfect year! A group of our own members skillfully modeled all the lovely featured attire. Ashley Ballas from Chico’s expertly served as the show commentator
Vicki Todd along with her Philanthropic Committee presented our charitable donation check to Heather Levine of Family Reach Alliance. Vicki and her team did a fantastic job this year of raising money for such a worthy cause. Congratulations, ladies!
Outgoing president Cheryl Bowles “passed the gavel” to Wanda Rester, our incoming president in September. Past president Elise Mince installed our new executive board.
Many thanks to all our members who worked tirelessly this year to make our club the success that it is! See you in September!!

Our NNC Bunco group met today at the Fat Spoon in Mandeville for the last time until September. We had a wonderful time with great friends and delicious food. Ellie Streckfus took the prize for rolling the most Buncos - six! Debra Moore very generously gave away one of her beautiful handmade patriotic wreaths to one of our lucky guests. Thank you, Debra!
