Anne London and Jim Hart, the founders of Arts for animals completed a six week tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe, visiting partner organizations and delivering much needed art supplies, program materials, wristbands, and teaching aids. Staff training demonstrations were made with partner organizations in Victoria, Falls, Zambia, and areas around Kruger Park in South Africa. It was an exhilarating ,but exhausting experience working with, and developing new program elements, training staff and developing more interesting and efficient creative educational activities for all the children involved. Thanks to our partnerships with Seeds Of Light foundation, Timbavati foundation, Bush Babies foundation, Painted Dog Conservation, Global Conservation Corps, and Children In The Wilderness, Arts for animals is reaching over 5000 children each year with conservation stewardship lessons and introducing them to the magic of art and creativity. We leave to go out west to deliver Art, draw wildlife, and visit our galleries in only three weeks, so I better get packing for that now. Hope to get back to this sometime soon.........

As we begin 2025, we hope you will remember that each year hundreds of the Earth's animal species are disappearing. It's up to each of us to do what we can to ensure that children in the future will have elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, and all of Africa's iconic animals in their lives, and the lives of their children. By helping ARTS FOR ANIMALS, you are leaving a legacy that helps ensure that your grandchildren can know wild places still exist -with wildlife living free in their natural habitat - not just on the pages of books or in Disney movies. Please help us connect creativity with conservation for thousands of children annually!

Using Art to save Wildlife

In 2012, renown wildlife artist Anne London, and her husband, Jim Hart ,began teaching African Children how to draw their endangered local animals. Since then, ARTS FOR ANIMALS has become a successful Non-profit , building Wildlife Arts Centers and partnering with Conservation Camps across southern Africa to help thousands of children all over the planet to understand and appreciate their local wildlife.

ARTS FOR ANIMALS mission is to “connect creativity with conservation” for the children of the Earth- to raise awareness of the important role art and wildlife can, and should, play in their lives. Arts for Animals is an educational organization dedicated to the protection of wildlife, stopping animal poaching and encouraging the preservation of endangered species through the education and artistic inspiration of our planet’s youth. It is these children that, someday, will be responsible for saving their wildlife. Or not.
