To every former student of Mrs. Dara Lemoine-Johnson, affectionately known as Mrs. J—your growth, your grit, and your graduation make this moment so special. You didn’t just learn in her room —you blossomed.

Mrs. J, for 37 years you didn’t just teach—you inspired. And for 27 years at Pontchartrain Elementary, you built a foundation so strong, it still echoes in the lives of your students.

Accident Prevention Needed for St. Tammany Youth!

In St. Tammany Parish, young drivers aged 16-24 face alarming risks, including fatal crashes, impaired driving, and low seatbelt compliance. The Louisiana Children & Youth Prevention Coalition is committed to turning these numbers around! Working towards 2025, we're focused on developing targeted accident prevention solutions to create safer roads for our youth. Let's support these efforts and work together to make our community safer for everyone.

Thank You, Governor Jeff Landry, for Your Support!

We are deeply grateful to Governor Landry for signing the proclamation in support of Kiki’s Red Ribbon School Celebration 2024! This initiative, available free of charge to all Louisiana Elementary and Middle Schools, is a crucial step in promoting early childhood drug awareness, education, and prevention.

Kiki’s Red Ribbon School Celebration, developed by the Seymore D' Fair Foundation, not only focuses on the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and to***co but also holistically addresses the well-being, self-esteem, and decision-making skills of young students. By instilling positive attitudes and providing students with the tools to make wise choices, we are laying the foundation for a safer, drug-free Louisiana.

Special thanks to Dr. Shayla Polk, Executive Director of the Office of Drug Policy. Together, with the Governor’s support and the dedication of leaders like Dr. Polk, we can ensure that prevention starts early, reducing the need for treatment or incarceration in the future.
