We want to give a huge thank you to Toys for Tots. This afternoon our Head Start parents attended a training on betime routines and then selected presents for their children. The room was filled with joy and excitement!

Workshop students from St. Joseph's School volunteered in Kelley and Brie's classroom today. The class is currently engaged in the Tree Study. The volunteers helped the kids make cars out of pine wood. The kids had a blast putting on the wheels and painting them. Thank you to Mr. Bitz and the workshop students!

Does winter at your house sometimes mean too much screen time? You’re not alone! While cozy nights with hot chocolate, blankets and a favorite movie definitely have their place, winter is also a great time to get creative, get moving, and enjoy the beauty of the season.
Make a family “bucket list” of activities you’d like to try.
- Host a snowman contest — biggest, silliest or most creative!
- Fill spray bottles with water and food coloring to “paint” the snow.
- Learn to ice skate, ski or snowboard together.
- Freeze colored water in containers or ice trays to create snow sculptures or even a colorful fort.
