It’s National Breastfeeding Month! 💙

Cassie, RN, IBCLC, is a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant at Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health. She provides both in-office and home lactation visits to support families throughout their breastfeeding journey.

“Feeding is not just about nutrition—it’s about connection, confidence, and empowerment,” says Cassie. “Every family’s journey is unique, and I’m honored to help parents navigate both the challenges and joys of breastfeeding in a way that aligns with their values.”

She adds, “Breastfeeding doesn’t always come naturally—it’s a learned skill for both the parent and the baby. It takes time, patience, and support. Struggling doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong—it just means you’re learning, and that’s completely normal.”
