Lookout Grange aims to build and strengthen community ties through an accessible gathering place for everyone, promoting education, encouraging meaningful connections between generations, enhancing food security, and supporting local agriculture. The Grange provides the main dish, and the rest of the meal is potluck style. Bring a dish to share and meet some of the amazing folks in our community.

We have the most economic rental prices for our grange hall and commercial kitchen space in montezuma county. Call Nicole to inquire about reserving the Grange for your next gathering or event (970) 623-2925. The Grange puts on two big fundraising events a year. A Spring Mancos Bloom with May Pole dance, silent auction, live music, local food and local drinks!… and a Fall Pig Roast where we cook a full pig over fire paired with amazing local ingredients to make for an unforgettable meal. annual Seed share !
We will be handing out some starters and seeds.
If you have abundance of anything growing in your yard for starters, and would like to share with the community please feel free to to come by and drop off!

The maypole is an old spring tradition… weaving ribbons as you dance to welcome the season, mark new beginnings, and celebrate community coming together.

This same old teepee pole has held hundreds of Mancos hands over the years. We’re still using it, 12 years later. In 2024 we cut off a decade of weaves and started fresh… and if you come this Sunday, you’ll see the last couple years layered beneath as you dance.

It’s a tender, sweet tradition.
If you’ve never joined in, maybe this is your year.
