Here’s a sneak peek at a fun new film by director Dawn Kish featuring Fretwater Boatworks and a few of the unique characters who are carrying on the tradition of building wooden dories whilst honoring the story and legacy of Grand Canyon Dories founder, Martin Litton.

Stay tuned for a new work day with Mancos Trails Group!

Thank you to everyone who came out to work this morning. We had a clear enough window of weather for the work time itself, however last night’s heavy rain made for muddy conditions, leading to us canceling at the last minute.
We ended up going for a beautiful group hike up to Big Al instead. We’re regrouping and hope to pull off a work day next Saturday, 10/17. Stay tuned!

Last market of the year for Mancos Valley Farmers Market!
Thank you to all the farmers, bakers, crafters, vendors and musicians for a wonderful season! We appreciate you!

Today will be the last market of the 2026 season. We want to thank all of our wonderful vendors for their hard work and dedication to providing for our community and all of the customers that have supported them. The farmer's market and community building feedback loop is real. Hope to see you at 4:00pm today in Boyle Park! Ben Crafts will be providing live music.

TRAIL WORK DAY this Saturday October 10th with Mancos Trails Group!

MTG's OCTOBER 10th TRAIL WORK DAY is ON! We will be working on the Upper Chicken Creek segment of the Mancos Spur Trail. Meet at the Upper Chicken Creek trailhead (just past Transfer Campground) at 9:00am, hike in a mile to begin the work, and enjoy a cookout at the trailhead to wrap up the day. Remember to wear sturdy closed toe shoes/boots, long pants, sun protection, and bring water, snacks, work gloves if you have them, and any medications you might need. Bring a chair for lunch time sitting. We hope to see you Saturday.
