Mancos Valley Resources

Mancos Valley Resources Mancos Valley Resources was originally founded in 1987. We act as a pass-through for grant requests after review and approval by our board.

It is an organization of volunteers constituted solely for the purpose of providing help for other organizations and or individuals in their pursuit of grant funding for worthy projects. We provide advice/support during the grant writing period, oversite financial review as requested by the granting organizations, and tax reporting. Otherwise, we do not involve ourselves in the operations of the requesting organization.

Trail work day for Mancos Trails Group is coming up on June 6th! No experience required, come and meet the great folks behind this project,

Our June 6th trail work day will be an extra special one to celebrate National Trails Day! If you enjoy our local trails, this is a great day to give back and have some fun with fellow trail enthusiasts. Lunch and drinks will be provided following trail work. MTG partner Osprey Packs will be giving out some great prizes! No trail work experience, no problem - wear sturdy close-toed shoes and bring water, sun protection, a chair (for after the work) and a helping attitude and we’ll get it done! We hope to see you there! American Hiking Society

Calling all Fathers! MVR has welcomed an amazing new project under our umbrella.

Montezuma County Fathers Group provides a community support network in Montezuma County for father-identifying caregivers. They build deep connection and foster strong community building by embracing the challenging reality of parenting together. Their goal is to create solidarity and unity through shared experience in a judgment-free space, creating opportunities to assist each other’s parenting and social needs.

There’s something really special about fathers showing up for one another, and we’re honored to support a group so deeply deserving of care and encouragement.

Please RSVP to the number below for their next meet-up on June 7th at
