We will park and meetup at Meigs Point Nature Center Parking Lot please arrive early as possible to secure a parking spot
(If you're not sure where to go ask the guard where Meigs Point is) Drive until you see the sign for Meigs Point Nature Center on your left

***Women Of Color Hike CT Alert*** We Successfully Completed our 7th Hike of the New Year on Saturday, July 18th, 2026 at Windsor Center River Trail, 41 Palisade Ave., Windsor, CT We had an awesome time this Trail has many directions and we hiked two of them it was an open beautiful space with exercise stations and the highlight of our Hike was meeting Mr. William Jones who shared that his wife of 57 years had past on June 30th 2026 and they use to go for walks on the Trail he so graciously shared the secrets to a Good Marriage Yall we are out here on these Trails meeting different people, having awesome conversations and

It truly lived up to its name but nevertheless we persevered We welcomed a newcomer Decymbia Daughter accompanied us on this hike and after the Hike I attended and Networking Event in New Haven, CT to talk about Women Of Color Hike CT Special Thanks to Dr. Janelle Posey for the invite
